Disrupt: 5 Minute Dance Party

So you don’t dance? Fine. Find some music and don’t dance for 5 minutes. Hard — whatever that means for you.

Move in ways that make you self conscious. Move in ways that get your heart going, ways that make you sweat. Move in ways that challenge your breath. 5 minutes, that may mean playing a song twice. Set a timer if you must but do it — do it fully.

Then take a minute to feel the effect of that crazy movement as it moves you. While you are there, say your name. Out loud. Say it, own it.
