Disrupt: Break up with Stillness

Most of us were trained to sit still, stand still, and generally be still. These bodies, however, were not built for it. Bodies need to move.

Your challenge today is to take the stairs, stand more, and/or have a 3-minute dance party with or without a co-worker. You get the idea. Insert some movement into different parts of your day and then observe how your breathing adapts to meet the change.

Your body’s unique factory settings and current level of wear and tear are real factors. Be kind, be curious, and move as fully as your body allows.
