Observe: Curve Balls

I am writing this from a hotel room.

Despite a good faith effort to get home from vacation last night, the weather had other plans. Honestly, we should have stopped an hour before we did. But sometimes it is hard to change a plan in motion.

We do this when speaking as well. The room experiences a change of some sort and instead of adapting we can just plow ahead. Whether it is a board room, a meeting, or a public speech, we should be receptive to changes in reality and be willing to adapt where necessary.

Today observe how receptive you are to changes in the world around you. How fluid is your ability to adapt?

I hope you are all warm and safe today. Let’s have a great week.
