Observe: Do You Hear What You Hear

Good Morning.

Let’s take a moment, right now, to listen deeply. From a seated position rock your hips from side to side shifting your weight from one sitz bone to the other. Then try to place your chest on your knees, bending in your chair, letting your arms hang. Close your eyes and listen.

Listen to the sound of your inhalation and exhalation. Listen to your heartbeat. Listen for sounds of adjustment in the body, for the sounds of you. Then slowly begin to focus your listening out. Can you hold on to the sounds that are you while you include the sounds from the room?

Breathe in, breathe out. And, listen.
