Perform: Repetition

As I mentioned in yesterday's post, I exhibited at a convention this week. I did over 100 quick voice assessments and interacted with many more people.

The beauty of that environment was the wonderful opportunity that giving hundreds of pitches provides. You alter a word here or there. You adjust the order of these ideas. You streamline your thought process or turn of phrase. You get to see what works and what doesn't in real time. And it just gets better. Hour by hour, you become clearer and more precise with your words. That is if you have done the work that allows you to access all of your communication resources where the rubber meets the road.

So remember that performance is an awesome teacher but to truly benefit from her insights, you must be ready to learn.
