Variance: Productivity?

Two weeks in, some of us are coming to a sort of balance with the new normal. Some of us are beginning to break down.

Assuming you are still employed, proceeding as if WFH is the same as working at the office is unrealistic. Yet that is exactly what some employers are expecting from us. It is up to you to create the space for your own humanity. It is also up to you to acknowledge and make space for the humanity of others.

Take a mid-morning wellness break. Yes, while at work. Breathe, move, and use your voice in expansive ways. Sing, dance, growl — seriously. Remember that you are your body and your voice can only express what is available within you.

GROW Voice is hosting a couple of events this week. An office hour on Friday at 12 pm on Zoom. Please email me to register.

We will also be doing a 3-session series of FB Live Thursdays at 6 pm on the GROW Voice FB Page. These sessions will begin a process of checking in with physical alignment, breath, and coping with Sedentary — the WFH edition.
