Articulate: Purpose Driven

One of the easiest ways to develop clarity is to know your goal.

Whether we are in a one-to-one conversation, in a meeting, or presenting to a larger group there is a purpose. Dynamic speech requires that you become clear about the desired outcome, the audience, and your role.

This requires thought, of course, but also preparation. Speaking with intention requires rehearsal. Still, it is the easiest way to get your brain to grant you the resources for true communication.

At our core, we are an organism. A complicated, dynamic, wonderful organism. Luckily for us, human beings are wired to connect with other humans. Tapping into the resources for this connection begins with intention.

So, what conversations are you having today? What is the purpose of that speech? Can you make your intention the guiding force of those interactions?

I'd love to hear what you think. Let me know how this plays out in your interactions.
