Disrupt: Normal

At times like this, it can be tempting to try to restore to normal as soon as possible. Get the WFH situation to flow as close to the in-office experience. Push out your marketing as per usual. Or, even work in staggered shifts as if everyone was there. The truth is that this isn't normal and your body knows it.
This is a great time to respect your neurology and the electrical systems it controls. To focus on breathing, flexibility both vocal and physical, and mindset.
I will be taking my own advice. Starting later today and continuing for at least a few weeks I will be making adjustments in the studio. Student sessions move online, and the blog posts will get shorter. Likely just a thought or two about functional voice and speech.
