Observe: Find The Light

It is grey in Boston this morning. And, it is Monday.

For many of us, there is a drag on our psyche as we approach a new work week. The key is to find a way to create a better experience for ourselves as we get into the details of the day.

Why does it matter? Well, we'll have a better life experience. And, importantly, it helps us line up our neurological allies for connection and communication.

The fact is that we will not extend our energy outward when we feel like contracting. And at its core, speaking well -- really connecting with others -- is an act of will.

So today observe how you feel and how much you are willing to give. Where you find resistance, see if you can find something to engage you further. For me this morning, the two large flower bouquets from last night's performance did the trick.

Now time to find your light and turn towards it.
