Observe: S curves

No one argues about the importance of the spine. It is the centerpiece of the whole skeletal system but is not a rigid centerpiece.

The spine is designed to articulate in every direction with its most limited mobility points being the extreme ends (the head and the pelvis). It should be able to arch and twist and curve any which way. But, what if it doesn't? What if, it can't?

Each of us has a physical reality. We might have injuries, muscular imbalance, or even a physical variance such as scoliosis impacting our spinal mobility. At issue is not whether your spine is "perfect," nothing is. The real question is what is your spine capable of doing. Explore its range of motion with this question, respect your limitations but, don't be lazy. Truly observe, and understand what your spine does and does not do.
