Office Space: Winding Down

December 7, 2020
5 min read

The end of the year is always a point of transition in workflow. For some, this may be a sprint and for others a slow walk in the woods. Whatever the pace of actual work, there is also a pull towards holidays (Jews, Christians, Pagans, Buddhists, Muslims, and Zoroastrians all celebrate holy days in December). All of which is complicated this year by COVID and the accelerating infection levels.

So today I am inviting you to work within the reality that exists. This year is coming to a close soon but there is time to enjoy until then. If you have more time, this is a great opportunity to reach out to clients and co-workers and build upon those relationships. If you are busy, creating windows of breath in the harried day-to-day will both help you cope and allow your speech space for clarity.

A second invitation, because I can, is to start mapping your next few weeks so that you know where the bursts of activity are and where you can take time to recharge.
