In improvisation there is a tool called "yes, and..." The concept is easy enough to understand. When working with a partner or a group you accept the premise of whatever has just been said, or done, and expand the idea from there. There are no limits to where you can go or how far from the original seed thought you end up. You just send your energy, your weight into the choice.

I've always loved the possibility in this tool. How a slight variation or a bold shift can change everything. What if we adapted this tool to how we approach vocal or presentational choices?
