Observe: Temporary States

Depending on where you live, there may be a shift in living and working. Here in MA, things are slowly opening up and the reality of being out in the world is a different temporary state than staying at home.

One example of this is wearing a mask in public, for most this includes their workplace. Later this week I’ll get into the realities of speaking through a mask but Mondays are for observation.

Today, I invite you to notice if, and how, your physicality changes when you put on your mask. Does it change your physical alignment? Is it uncomfortable for you? How is the weight of your head resting on your shoulders? Notice all of the shifts physical and mental that you are navigating as you leave your home.

This week will be spending some time on tools for navigating communication in this temporary state. If you have specific questions or concerns about this, please leave a comment and I’ll be sure to address it during the week.

This Friday at 12:30 pm EDT, Gina will be live on FB. These will be short voice alignment sessions aimed at voice skills building. Watch it on the GROW Voice FB page. I hope to see you there.
