Facebook is down, this is not a drill. I’m sure you haven’t noticed it being a workday and all (Insta too). Still, for those of us who sometimes indulge in an easy social connection, this might have been disturbing.
It might still be unsettling. So in the interest of improving our communication skills, I have a suggestion. How about taking that gorgeous connection impulse and calling someone?
It could be a colleague, client, or friend. An actual honest-to-goodness phone call just to connect. Bonus points if you take a short walk as you talk so that your body can integrate the sensation. If you try and get voicemail, call someone else. Connect with a person.
