I've been thinking a lot about silo mentality. That is the holding (and hoarding) of…
Observe: What Are You Doing About That?
How do you feel this morning?
Really.
If you went through your body and did an inventory, would you find soreness, tension, or discomfort? Many of us do.
So, what are you doing about that?
Today is really about the observation of our physical state. There are a million things we ignore that could benefit from just a little attention. For example, a little tickle or soreness in the throat. Perhaps it’s not enough that you feel sick or to greatly affect the voice so it gets ignored. But what if instead you hydrated well, used a soothing tea or lozenge, or took 20 minutes to steam or use a sauna.
How would your voice and your outlook improve if you showed yourself some care?
At the end of the day, these bodies are wonderful, complicated places. They carry us through everything sometimes with very little complaint. But, that doesn’t mean that we should ignore the little complaints.
Observe what you are feeling and do something about it.
Happy Monday!
